WTF is Going On with X's Algorithm?

So this happened again. I replied to a post with a bit of satire and humor and was summarily locked out of my account.

There is an account called “VividProwess” that posted a video of people chanting “Death to America.” I decided to use the opportunity to reply with a bit of satire and wrote in alternating letter text: “Let’s bring them to America and given them free healthcare.”

Next thing that happens is I get this message:

It popped up suddenly in my X app. When we checked our e-mail, we received this scary automated notice in our inbox:

There was no reason given for why my account was locked. We at least deserve to know especially when they threaten to permanently suspend our account for repeat violations.

This is unfair. It should also speak to how broken the X system is. Elon Musk is completely out of the loop with everything wrong with this website and nothing has been done for years to fix the broken Trust and Safety algorithm that is contributing to mass censorship happening across the platform.

Marauder Magazine is apparently not the only account that has been suffering from this problem. There are other accounts that have also complained that they have been the targets of algorithm poaching similar to what we have been suffering from.

We are paying customers of X. We purchased a Premium+ subscription with the belief that we would be boosted and this never happened. Instead, we got deamplified and our posts were pushed to the very bottom of the replies sections. Our content and viewership is also tanking. As said before, Marauder Magazine has what it takes to attract a large audience, it’s just X’s algorithms appear to not want a large audience to see or find us.

Marauder Magazine has 10,000 followers and our posts are lucky to be seen by at least 50 people sometimes. That’s a 0.5% retention rate. Tell me that this is not censorship/deamplification.
